i have been having problems wid my new harddisk whenever i play a high graphics demanding game on my pc it crashes and next time i start my pc i dont see my harddisk on disk management,i have a zebronics powersupply 550 watts i recently upgraded my gpu to an asus strix 960 4gb ddr5,is the crashing issue my psu problem or is my harddisk failing(its brand new and its sata 7.2krpm)
SYSTEM SPECS

cpu - amd fx 6300

gpu - asus strix gtx 960 4gb ddr5

ram - 2X4gb sticks adata

moboard - asus m5a99fx evo r2.0

ssd -sandish 128gb

hdd - wd black 1tb

lg optical drive

no fans, no leds

Why not check your harddrive with something like crystal disk info to see if there are any errors?

Also, try a bigger powersupply if you can - maybe from a friend for a few hours.

Could also be that there is a Motherboard / BIOS issue - is the BIOS revision recent?

I checked the harddisk its fine might be power issue and i havent checked the bios version,the whole thing happened when i played forest beta at high settings and when the gpu took more load everything went slow i removed the harddisk and booted with my asd faster and no problems when i connect my hdd so slow and today i formatted my whole harddisk and everything was back to normal but i am scarec if i give too much load to gpu my Harddisk cud fail again
