Will Sandy bottleneck this much too? or does it's better IPC feed a 1070 better? I also found something in the comments that well made me laugh. Look at the guy defending the FX.

Which sandybridge are you talking about a penium or a 2600k, but an i5 2500k should be fine with a 1070 especially when overclocked.

I came from a QX9770 with my 1080 and am on Skylake now, today i got it all up and running. Was just wondering on how far the bottleneck scales down with CPU's.
