merging php files?

Okay so this is a bit hard to explain but if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it! I'm using a plugin called search & filter pro, but the plugin has a really weird result template and i want to change it out with the "blog" template on my current wordpress template. The problem is that i have to merge the php files or something like that. I'm not really good with code so if anyone can help me out that would be great! I'll attach the two php files.

Hi, have you got a link to the live website where you are using this plugin? if you want the results to look more like your current theme you will need to add some custom css styles that the plugin can use.

Send me a link to the live version and I'll take a look.

Chris

This is how i want it to look like, i changed the theme for the page to "blog" and it works, but when i choose a filter nothing happens, which leads me to believe that the blog theme overrides the search & filter plugin. This is the link for the page:  http://www.selvbestemmelse.no/forside-for-registrerte/

Could you add the filter to another page that doesn't use the blog theme so i can see it working on page and then not working on an another.

ok so the theme you are using outputs the code using a completely different structure than the plugin does.

I can restructure the plugins out put but not until tonight when I have finished work.

I can get back to you later on if that helps?

Changed it out, the same thing happened. Again thank you so much for your help!

hmm this would be a lot easier if I could see it live. Would you create me an admin account on your site so i can do it live, would be much easier. and then delete the account after.

Please PM me login details if you do.
