Ive recently switched from an aircooler to a water cooler and ive noticed a rise in my gpu tempreture.

the changes:

1.swithced to watercooler and added two intake fans for raditor on the top of the case.

2.change psu to fan side down (didnt notice it was up)

gpu model - gigabyte gtx 980ti g1 gaming

case - corsair graphite 760t

cooling - corsair h105

temps:

all in overwatch gameplay after about 30 minutes:

before changes - 74-75 degrees

after changes - 80 -82 degrees

ive tried opening the side panel and tempretures went down to 70-72

thanks ahead for everyones help

p.s

im not sure this is the right place to post since its one of my first times :)

Are you saying that you water cooled your GPU?

Do you have good airflow around the bottom of the case? What is your fan arrangement. Are you using high SP or high air flow fans?

Sounds like you water cooled your cpu, and flipping your PSU made it so fresh air wasn't actively being directed under the gpu, resulting in higher temps. either flip your psu back and see if it helps, or get better airflow to the gpu another way

Make it so that the radiator fans are exhausting the hot air and not blowing it towards the GPU. This should also help pull hot air away from it. You may want to add some more fans blowing cool air towards the GPU if possible.

my gpu is gigabyte cooling which isnt blower but pushes air downwards,

two intakes in the front one exhaust back two intakes sp120l for radiotor and psu fan side down
