What graphics card do you have?

If you have an AMD graphics card you could go for the LG 29UM68P. It has a 75Hz refresh rate via Freesync.

I have the LG 34UM57-P a bigger and older version of the one you are getting but with almost the same specs. The resolution 2560x1080 is a little bit weird i must say. the height for me is just low :-/

To your question, if its a 75hz panel its not going to go more :) Thats just it its not liek with a cpu.

then it will stay 60hz....

My bad they write its 75hz... with freesync its automatically 75hz when using AMD gpu

Though the "oc" to 75hz would not make any difference. I dont think you would see it from 60 to 120hz thats something completely diferrent but from 60 to 75 its nothing i think :)

I bought the LG 29UM58 two days ago. It is good, is not very tall, is smaller than a 24" monitor, but, you can have two windows or folders openes and you can see them very good, it is good for productivity and gaming.

 For movies is weird.

Why is it weird for movies? :o

Aren't those SUPER ULTRAWIDE monitors advertised as great for movies?

Also, if you mind, could you show me (screenshots) how it looks like in youtube movies, with fullscreen browser on random page (linus tech tips, maybe 1-2 other pages), in standard movie?

And one more thing, how many games support ultrawide?

I'm working right now. Tonight when I get home I can send you the photos.

It is weird watching movies because not all movies are very wide.

All modern games will work perfectly, just old games may not work properly with ultrawide monitors.

Damn bro, I forgot last night, I'm so sorry.
I'm working again, tonight I will send you the photos..

But, I have discovered that the monitor doesn't work at 75hz with the native resolution. With native resolution the monitor only work with 60hz.

If you want 75hz you will need to change the resolution for a lower one to set 75hz correctly, but that is not the point, right?.

Why LG sells this monitor as 75hz?, I don't know.

From what i read its 75hz on lower resolutions and/or when used with FreeSync. :)

I'm just interested to see how things look like overall on ultrawide monitor, haven't deicided particular model yet. Interested in whatever is it worth or not.
