Garphics Card for Emulators

Just wondering what kind of graphics card would be enough to run emulators at full settings. I was thinking something like a GTX 960 but I was unsure so I wanted to check. (PS2, Wii, PS1, etc...)

Most emulators are largely CPU intensive.

 

Pretty much any mid range card in the last 5 years should get you by.

Ya, emulators are more CPU intensive then GPU (like mentioned above). It would probably be better to invest the money into getting a better CPU, my 6800k runs Dolphin pretty smooth with no hitches.

I have a 4790K so I should be good there. I figure there are other emulators that are more towards the GPU side of things.

No GPU (which is why I was asking), I have a 4790K CPU

I've run emulators off my HD4600 in my 4790k. I'm assuming you have a Z97 motherboard, just give is some voltage and crank up the frequency. Standard overclocking fair, then give it a shot. Best game I was able to run was KOTTOR.

I haven't tried console games with my desktop yet, I was planning on getting a GPU and then trying just to be sure.
