If your just doing this for fun and having a go at it, then you could but the main issue is if your using a mixed metal loop is you require a compatible fluid or it will suffer from galvanic corrosion, not to mention the loop gunking up from the plasticizers in the tubing.  As for the ID you need tubing that is the same size as the fittings or it won't properly seal.

Ok so this is another one of my posts asking about budget projects so i have been very interested in water cooling recently and i have come up with a cheap and expandable loop so here are the parts!

Cpu Block: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-pcs-CPU-Water-Cooling-Block-Waterblock-50mm-Copper-Base-Cool-Inner-Channel-/161577339627?hash=item259ec28aeb:g:WWwAAOSwIgNXi5Ti

Res & pump combo: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SC-300T-12V-4W-ultra-quiet-Water-pump-pump-tank-for-pc-CPU-Liquid-Cooling-System-/191827868799?hash=item2ca9d4fc7f:g:N2sAAOSw~OVWx2R0

Tubing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Ft-of-Clear-Hose-Flexible-Water-Air-Line-Tubing-Tank-Per-Metre-/171946442924?var=470845632005&hash=item2808ce80ac:m:m7bfPBAIq1Z2IskIYvmqeAA

Radiator: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120mm-Water-Cooling-CPU-Cooler-Row-Heat-Exchanger-Radiator-with-Fan-for-PC-BH-/301939930083?hash=item464d05b3e3:g:xcMAAOSwX~dWjTci

I will zip tie the tubing on the connectors and i think i should go for the 9mm id tubing even though the pum has 8mm id i think it should be fine. Is this loop good currently i don't even have a gpu in my system but hopefully i could  add a cpu block on the gpu using zip ties. Thanks for reading

I was thinking about going to my local pharmacy  and getting anti corrosive drops from there and yeah this is for fun and it is extremely overkill for my i3-4150 !

Thank you !

Don't forget it requires a biocide or it can potentially have growth occur, if you get an antifreeze mix that has a biocide built it would work for mixed metal loops.
