Hi guys,

I have HP MicroTower DX2400 With IPIBL-LB MotherBoard and i want to replace my current HP case to Zalman Z1 Neo because i want to upgrade for dualslot GPU...

so i need to know if when i will replace to the new case the CPU still will be under the expansion slot or he will be above the

expansion slots ???

First of all, your current case should be able to hold a dual slot cpu, just might not be able to handle the LENGTH of the gpu depending on what you have. Secondly, you are not being rude just thorough so that's cool, yes I am sure since the zalman is a standard ATX (or mATX) case instead of the inverted one like a lot of OEM's use. This means that the LEFT side panel comes off (if you look from the front) instead of the right like on your current HP case.

 

When in doubt, re-format.

If this is indeed what your current case looks like, I am confused as to what part of the case is preventing a dual slot gpu from going in. The only potential problem I see is the SATA ports on the motherboard being in the way, but that has nothing to do with the case.maxresdefault.jpg
