So about a year ago i got the logitech z506 and absolutely loved them. but lately, I've been noticing that the mid range. the one that sits horizontal makes crackling sounds when there's no sound. It's like a crackling popping sound. mind you, it used to do this for a few seconds when I got it then it would stop but now It's a constant and It's bothering me. I don't know if It's my drivers or what it could be. I've unplugged and replugged it and that was no solution. i dont think it could be my motherboard. currently using an MSI gaming 9 ac motherboard. I have my laptop on my desk as well so maybe its causing static interference? should i maybe invest in a sound card or a dac for better clarity?

I actually just figured it out, Its not a software problem its hardware, the port responsible for my front speakers is bad so I go rid of a rear and moved my mid to that plug there and now no annoying crackling popping. i will be taking the amp apart now though to see if there's a loose solder joint that I can fix or if it needs a new input, i will keep this thread updated.
