I have an Asus Maximus V Formula AC3 edition and all of a sudden it is having trouble POSTing. The last time it worked fine I had unplugged my Vive from it's box and my TV and hard reset the machine because unplugging my Vive causes problems and a restart is needed. Now it sits with a black screen and code 62 on the board. I then power it off and turn it back on and it now POSTs but says "Overclocking failed please enter setup to re-configure your system". I press F1 to go the BIOS and save and exit. On the 3rd boot it boots into Windows fine. If I shut it down it starts the whole process over and it takes 3 boots to finally get into Windows. I even got a blue screen instantly saying "whea_uncorrectable_error" once. The cycle becomes...

Code 62 -> Overclocking Failed -> Successful boot -> Code 62 -> Overclocking Failed -> Successful boot -> Code 62......

Reverting to the default BIOS settings doesn't fix this, however it removes the "Overclocking failed" issue. It now also does not follow a cycle and if I get a good POST or not seems random when before it seemed to follow the cycle above (could be chance I haven't extensively tested it). Does anyone know what the hell is going on???

Also according to the manual code 62 means "Installation of the PCH Runtime Services"

I just found out after letting the failed POST sit for a few minutes it switches from code 62 to code 55 which is "Memory not installed". I am going to try one stick at a time and see if that solves it

Edit: The memory is not the problem as it still does it with any of the 4 sticks I have. I switched my GPU to my old 770 and now it hangs on code 63 before going to code 55
