Everytime I'm playing dota 2 my system suddenly freezes then goes bluescreen. Then after restarting my system lags, some kind of fps drop. Anyone knows why this happens?

This is my system

Processor: I5-3570 @3.40GHz (4 CPUs)

Graphics Card: MSI R9 380 4GB

Power supply; Corsair CS650M

Motherboard: MSI H61M-P31/W8

RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS 8GB DDR3 1600
Storage: 1x HITACHI 500GB

               1x Seagate 500GB

A new PSU? Why?

The fps drops and lags only happen after my system bluescreens.

Well it's not necsasarry to get a new PSU, but the current one you have is very low quality. You get FPS drops after you get a bluescreen because your system restarts and your hard drives aren't that fast and they are still loading  other things for a while after you restart which can cause fps drops.

Why the heck would he need a new PSU and/or why is the CS650m a bad PSU?

Also how do you even know if his HDD's are "too slow"? All we know are the manufacturers.. sure 500GB are most likely not the newest but still, its not like you are really going to be bottlenecked by a HDD in a game like Dota. Even after a restart and since you first need to boot up steam, than dota, than find a game, load into the game.. thats easily another 3-4min. Even my old winXP PC could manage that with its 60mb/s R/W HDD.

@eydipogi03

 I'd check for:

.) overheating (Use one of these: MSI Afterburner, HWInfo, Aida64)

.) if all the cables & components are seated properly.

.) Run stresstest to try and narrow it down to CPU, GPU or RAM. (Valid options are: Aida64, Prime95, Haven/Valley benchmark, 3Dmark, Furmark, Memtest64)

.) try a different game and see if it happens there aswell.

and report back with results.

Also it would be usefull to know what the bluescreen states.

You can get "bluescreenview" and just read out your latest bluescreens with it.

@Nord or quote me if you want me to reply back. I don't necessarily check back or subscribe to every topic.
