So i built a computer about two weeks ago, worked fine up until now. On the motherboard, the DRAM light is on, occasionally flickering to the CPU light. I can get power, but no display. I tried with one stick of RAM and tried each stick in every slot. Sorry if this is a noob-ish question, this is my first build.

It sounds like the RAM may be bad. Have you tried also re-seating the CPU? Its a pain in the ass but can sometimes fix issues.

Not yet, because it has a 212 evo on it lol. I'll do it, though. Hopefully that fixes it. What are the chances both sticks would go bad at the same time, though?

For you, 34.50, I give you best price.

All kidding aside, it sounds unlikely, that's why I recommend the re-seating of the cpu.

When in doubt, re-format.
