Hello,

Got a couple of questions as I've completed installing Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

1.) When I start my system up, after the Windows 7 loading logo, the monitor seems to turn itself off for some seconds then turns back on and the process goes on as nothing has happened.

I'm pretty sure it is caused by one of my drivers that I installed because this problem did not persist before I installed the drivers.

How can I counter this issue? How can I "fix" it?

Video to demonstrate my problem:

2.) Windows 7 x64 Ultimate seems to be using tremendous amounts of RAM when I start up my system. Why is this happening to me? (I have 32gb ram which is a lot and when my rig is at idle it uses ~15%++ ram for no reason. When I had Windows 10 x64 Pro the system at idle used 4-5% ram total, lol)

Plenty of computers I've used turn the monitor on and off while booting. It doesn't happen while you're using the PC, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

As for the RAM, look in task manager and see what's using it up.

After restarting PC for about 3 minutes the cpu/ram usage is completely normal for Windows 7 (7% ram and 0%-1% cpu) but then something happens and bamm svchost is back in action right there:

:( Any help to fix this?

Looks like there are a few things to try here: http://appuals.com/high-cpu-usage-by-svchost-exe-netsvcs/

Also some potential solutions here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/23847-63-svchost-memory-usage

Not an issue I've worked with before, but knowing it's svchost has you one step closer to a solution.
