Gpu for x4 860k

FMLGamer

My system has a x4 860k and  very old graphics card that cant handle anything, so i want to upgrade my gpu.

Does someone know a graphics card that doesn't get bottlenecked or downclocked by the x4 860k?

I got the same cpu.. I'll buy the rx470 when it comes out but it can handle a gtx 960 or r9 380 with some oc probably almost every 860k can run on 4000 and 4200 turbo core.. even more

You could probably get an R9 380x without bottlenecking too bad. But watch the prices, most shops are still gouging on the price (selling for $200 haha despite the 480 4gb dropping as low as 169 in sales). Buying One used would probs be pretty good.

Make sure you check your power supply, though, or you might be better off waiting for an RX 470.

TLDR: R9 380X if you've got the wattage in your PSU. Else, get an RX 470.

It could probably handle a 480, but it's kinda stretching it so like others have said said if your PSU can handle it (about 500W), an R9 380X will be fine. If it's less than 500W, then a 470 might be a better bet.

wait for 1050 and 470. Or try finding used/cheap 960/970. Depending on what psu you have ofc
