I have Asus k550j, with a 750GB HDD.

I was thinking to Install ssd.

Is a good or a bad idea ?

If is a good ideia, what should I buy.

( Sorry for my bad english )

It's definantly a good idea, i haven't installed a drive on that particular laptop, but I have added ssds to two dells and it is a huge performance improvement.

It's a good idea. You can get just about any SSD you like. Even a slow SSD is much faster than an HDD.

If you need to clone your HDD, get an SSD that has a cloning app with it (or downloadable) and get an external USB case to put one of the drives in for the cloning process.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

ssd on any laptop is a great idea, performance boost is great but also the power consumption is normally much less.

the
