Yeah this is really basic I know but well I'm staying at my mom's house on vacation and her cat knocked over my headphones off a small table I had them set on,  and they more or less fell apart, one of the speaker housings came off but I don't seen any broken plastic it looks like it should snap back together easily,  but when I try the aluminum band just won't stretch to let it back into place, is there some way of doing this myself so I don't have to try to RMA them?  Am I just trying to put it back on wrong? Do I have to undo the screw in the plastic joint? ect ect... Here's a couple pictures for clarification ...  and yes I know the picture quality is terrible I don't have any sort of decent camera (not even a good smartphone) at the moment, plus I took them in a hurry! Please and thank you for any and all help.13717897_1420548181305308_2116535557_o.j13730671_1420548467971946_1381913640_o.j

You should be able to take off that plastic piece at the aluminium part by undoing the screw. Then insert the first plastic piece on one site and screw on the other one aferwards while holding it together.

Thank you that's what I thought,  guess I'll have to see if I can find a screw driver that small,
