I just installed VMware and I was creating an ISO and notice the PC was taking a really long time. Went to task manager and noticed CPU usage is at 100%. Note that I JUST installed VMware, there are no VMs running. I tried restarting. Still 100% usage. I scrolled down the list of processes and they don't even add to 100% and they are fluctuating extremely rapidly. Like I'll open chrome and it will go from 2% to 87% and fly everywhere for example. I have a 4790k. Never had problems before. I know I just installed VMware but I find it hard to believe that would be the issue cause there are no VMs running. Help?

Current PC build: [CPU: Intel i7 8700k] [GPU: GTX 1070 Asus ROG Strix] [Ram: Corsair LPX 32GB 3000MHz] [Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A] [SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB primary + Samsung 860 Evo 1TB secondary] [PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 750w 80plus] [Monitors: Dual Dell Ultrasharp U2718Qs, 4k IPS] [Case: Fractal Design R5]

Like I said I restarted and it doesn't start upon launch. I guess I'll try uninstalling. The PC doesn't seem to be running slow anymore but it still says 100%....
