So today I got my EVGA G2 and Cable Mod cable installed as part 1 of my upgrade. In the next month or so I am getting a new graphics card, a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X, which is on order and will be here next week. I also am getting a new liquid cooling kit, the EKWB L240 to replace my swiftech H220 unit that has served me very well over the past 2 + years. I am also going to be getting a new case to house all this in, but have not decided yet on which case to get. If you have suggestions on that, please post them with any feed back. I also have on order additional cable combs to tidy up the appearance of my cables. Here are some pictures of Phase 1 of my upgrade build log.

Fancy, Perhaps you could get a case with a PSU cover to make it look even cleaner?

I have a new GPU on order, should be here Wednesday. I have the MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X coming. I was thinking about the case and have been eyeing the Cooler Master Maker 5 potentially.

I'd go for it. Very solid case, has a fan hub built in by the looks, so you really cant go wrong.

I would suggest maybe making a plastic cover for the other PCI-E device and maybe even the IO panel.

Nice case, I have the same model in the same color, but what is that green thing in the PCI slot.

its an intel gigabit NIC card. I have issues with the on-board killer NIC.
