freezing Computer Hard Locking

I just build my first gaming computer

CPU-Fx-4300@4.4GHz

Mother board-MSI-970a sli Krait edition

RAM-HyperX- 16GB-1866

GPU- MSI 1070 gaming X

PSU- EVGA-SuperNova NEX 650G

CPU cooler- Corsair H55

Yes I know that the CPU bottle necks the GPU but I don`t think that is the problem.

Every time that I do a demanding task suck as playing Crysis 3 I can only play for about 5 minutes and my computer hard locks and have to reset the computer or turn it off at the wall.

In most of the other games I play it takes longer but what ever game I play it happens.

I have ran stress test for many hours and not crash.

I have taken my over cloak off changed it no change it still crashes after playing games

Something else to note sometimes it will just crash by itself sometimes while it is doing nothing.

I have been on all the Manufactures web sites and got all the drivers Bios update but it still crashes.

Plz help

what are the temps?

Might be your CPU temps.

Your CPU might not handle these games and outputs more heat when stressing out the CPU. 

You got any decent aftermarket cooler?

 

Run prime95 for a few hours and see if it does the same thing.

My temps after running the cpu in prime95 for an hour at it over cloak didn`t get pass 46 degrees and didn`t crash

I stopped the test opened Crysis 3 5 minutes into playing the it had locked again.

I am using a Corsair H55 AIO liquid cooler
