Aida 64

Go to solution Solved by DavePC,

The FPU is an component of the computer which calacuates floating point operations, and may be integrated with the CPU.

CPU stressing focuses on the CPU, and I'd just recommend running the CPU Stresstest for a couple of hours, and if the temps get too high (90c-100c), the CPU will start the throttle its self to lower the temp, but I hope that doesn't happen.

FPU Stressing really isnt that important.

In Aida64 what is the difference in CPU and FPU stressing?

Also if I let it run for a few hours and I'm not around to watch it and say temps get too high or something strange will the test just automatically stop and error or can it ruin the CPU?
