RX 480 Custom Cards

So I've been wanting the RX 480 for a while now especially the non reference ones but the companies like ASUS and MSI are only only annoucing 8GB ones. Does it mean there are no plans for them to make 4GB variants as well?

Will be all up to the AIB partners which they want to offer. I dont think they are required to do the 4gb version, though I am nearly certain they will. They are announcing the 8gb versions as that is what consumers want.

Someone asked the AIB partners about the price, I think it was at computex, and they said it would be easier to meet the price of the 8GB model than the 4GB, it just doesn't cost 40$ extra to put 4GB extra on the card. So the money is better on the 8GB version, so they're in no rush to make the 4GB one, but there should still be some at some point.
