Hello, i have an annoying problem with the sound on my pc, the left side always plays sounds louder than the right side. I have gone into the Realtek configuration thing and the sides are balanced on the slider, however i noticed that when I pull the slider to the far left I only get sound from the left side, but when i pull it to the far right the sound still comes from both sides, but it's not as loud as before. Has anyone encountered this problem and do you have any idea how to solve this. I should also mentioned that i use the integrated sound card in the Asus Maximus VII Hero, I use the green port in the back, and the headphones that I use is a pair of Bower & Wilkins P7

Have you tried to find out if the headphones are the problem? Plug them into something else to see if the audio is still unbalanced.

Try wiggling the 3.5mm connector while listening to something, and try pulling it out a bit and varying the depth at which it's plugged in. Sometimes, I don't know why, but I get this with some headphones and jacks.

In example, if I run GTA V through my computer speakers, sound eventually cuts out on one side, but pulling the plug out half way returns the sound to normal. Having the plug pulled out half way messes with the audio on my computer though. I've also got to RMA my board some time, as the female jack on the back is loosely connected which makes the audio sound weird and pixelated at times.

It probably has to do with the audio output channels or something...
