For what purpose is monitor? If u're just casual user which plays games, u've done enough.

Hi All

 

I recently purchased the Acer XB271HU monitor. Rather than spending a lot of effort on figuring out the right settings for it, I thought I'd take the help of the internet. ;)

 

I did some research and another owner who seemed to have access to some tools for calibration posted an ICC profile. I took that and added it to my "Color Management" setting.

 

Now my question is :

 

Is this enough or am I missing something ? The settings on the monitor itself still shows the default values. Should I be changing them as well ?

I do some photo editing stuff as well. I have not yet done anything so far (after receiving the monitor). And, I haven't noticed much problems so far (except for small leak on the bottom right corner which decided to ignore).

 

Is there anything more that can be done ? :D Just to know...
