I'm going to start off with saying I'm fairly stupid when it comes to putting a PC together, and pulling a PC apart so sorry if this is a straight forward issue.

About 2 years ago I bought a pre-built PC from a Future Shop in Canada which is now a Best Buy. The computer is an ASUS M32 series although I'm not 100% which model exactly.

The problem I'm having is that I found out only recently that multiple games crash my PC completely. The games I've learned do this are Borderlands 2, Blade & Soul, as well as Nosgoth. When my PC crashes it goes to a random colour, usually loops the most recent sound before crashing, and then locks my PC and the only thing I can do is hold the power button until it turns off. I've contacted Nvidia support and they said to try and I believe re-seat my video card however after opening my PC to try and re-seat the video card I couldn't seem to actually pop it out of the computer. I've looked up a guide on removing a video/graphics card and saw what to unscrew on the back of the computer, and I was trying to see what else maybe keeping it stuck and could find nothing. I've popped down the switch keeping the card locked in place, unscrewed the card from the computer, and I've tried to look and couldn't find anything. I also know this will be extremely stupid to say, but I couldn't seem to find the card hooked up with any sort of power supply either. It seemed like it was just in its slot, screwed into the case, and that's all. Someone I recently spoke to said there should be only one screw if any at all, and the switch but it didn't seem to be popping out of the slot and didn't want to try forcing it out for I'm assuming the obvious reason of not wanting to break the card.

If anyone can give me an idea of what to potentially look for that'd be greatly appreciated.

Hello there. If I recall correctly, some versions of the GTX 750 (OEM and reference designs), are designed to run solely off the PCI-Express slot, so external power is not needed. Try removing the card from the PCI-Express slot that it currently sits on now, then plug it back in.

If you reseat the card, and that doesn't fix the problem, it may be a power issue if the card only draws from the PCI-E slot, and you might want to try under-clocking it a tiny bit with something like MSI Afterburner.

I can't really try this right now because it's 3 AM but I feel I should say I don't think it's a power issue in any way whatsoever. The only issue is that my screen goes a random colour somewhat frequently if I ever try playing Borderlands 2, Blade & Soul, or Nosgoth. I play games such as The Division for example with no issues (outside of FPS lag occasionally) so I don't really understand how it could be a power issue when it's only for what seems to be those 3 games that I remember, but then they run a lot better then The Division does before it crashes my PC.

Either way I still need to try and figure out how to reseat my card because that was my main issue is that I can't seem to figure it out. It doesn't seem to have a way to pop it out of the case, but it also doesn't really seem like it's locked into it either. Unless there are more screws or I was just missing a step it doesn't seem to work.
