Socket 775 MOBO Search

[White Espresso]

I have been hunting for a 775 Socket motherboard that supports ddr3 and I was wondering if anyone could help me find a cheap mother board that would give me good performance as well. Amazon is preferred.

The seller doesn't have much of a clue-that's one of the worst motherboards I've ever seen.

Would Ebay be OK? And DDR2 boards are more common and better value for money.

a local retailer has a "new" one in stock, most likely not having gotten much of a price change since lanch. (note that belgium is an expensive country, and they're not the cheapest retailer around)

Its about the same price (in euro) that P5K VM were at originally. and those motherboards have more features and can take LGA771 Xeons.

Im US based and I can make ddr2 work as long as it can support 8+ gb of ram based of 2 gb sticks

I think that most of the good LGA775 (or the more recent ones) support 16GB DDR2. non ECC 4GB sticks are fairly rare however.
