HI, do you guys know how to disable google from remembering previous searches on the mobile version. For example on my S3 on chrome, when i tap on google to look something up, there is this long list of purple keywords of my previous searches. I have disabled this on desktop but can't find the setting on the mobile version.

My account is already synced (i have my bookmarks synced) and turning off web history didn't help. Thanks for the suggestion. Do you have any other ideas?

Try this: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/54048?hl=en

Signed out searches

If you aren't signed in to a Google Account, your search experience will be personalized based on past search information linked to a cookie on your browser. To disable these types of personalizations, follow these steps:

  1. Visit google.com/history/optout when not signed in to a Google Account. (If you see the Google homepage, try visiting the link again.)
  2. On the resulting page, click Disable customizations based on search activity. (Because this preference is stored in a cookie, it'll affect anyone else who uses the same browser and computer as you).

Or, if you'd rather just delete the current cookie storing searches from your browser and start fresh, clear your browser's cookies.

Make sure you clear your cookies before doing this.

EDIT: This might probably not work also and by searching around I don't think there is an option imo unless you go into incognito mode.
