What camera should I get, I have no photography experience

I have no experience in photography and I do not know what features are good to have on a camera.

What I am looking for is a camera that isn't bulky so I can easily fit it in a bag while I am on vacation.

And take wide angle shots.

A compact point and shoot camera?  How wide of an angle do you have in mind?

Fuji X100 or pretty much any from that series depending on your budget.

a phone?  If you don't really know how to use it yet, anything will do for the purpose of learning general photography techniques.  Then, when you start to feel constrained byt the lack of features, that's when it's time to upgrade :)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Nice one.

Yup, the thing about fuji is that @op will be able to just use the jpegs without worrying about raw and they'll come out nicely.

My T5 is a pretty nice introductory camera, but maybe a used rx 100? Also, +1 for the phone. I got interested in photography after a vacation of screwing around with the pro mode on my gs6.
