Need help making a network bridge!!

I am trying to bridge the internet from my windows 8 laptop to a windows 7 desktop and I can not for the life of me get it to work :(

Which computer is supplying the connection?

The windows 8 one....I get to the bridge thing then it says you must have two lan or internet connections :( I do not know what that means :(

The windows 8 one....I get to the bridge thing then it says you must have two lan or internet connections :( I do not know what that means :(

1. Plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet ports on both of the computers.

2. Get on the Win8 computer, and go to the charms.

3. Search for ncpa.cpl and press enter.

4. Bridge the wireless connection with the wired connection

5. Voila.

It keeps giving me this stupid pop up that tells me it will not work :(
