Depth illusion on all angles possible?

Hey, so I know you can make some painting with stretched out stuff to make it look like it has depth. Now I really wanted to try a project with a full sized closet that would have glass on each of the two windows. The idea is sort of a Narnia thing, but the closet would be in reality completely empty with a whole on the back, only you would look at the glass with something printed behind it and it would look like a full depth empty closet. 

The same way an "infinity mirror" looks like but with a back.

Maybe I'm too much of a dreamer and that's not possible, I couldn't find it. But how cool would it be to look at an empty closet, only to then see someone open it and disappear into it, like, you'd look at the doors right after that someone closed it and it would be completely empty, about a second after.
