I'm planning to build a PC around Black Friday and I'm looking for suggestions for case fans. Looking to keep the budget below $2100 USD. Since I'm purchasing the PC during Black Friday sales, I can go up to $2200 USD as a budget currently (and hopefully I can save some money due to Black Friday and less demand for 1080's :P).

Here is the current build. The build includes an i7-6700K, an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW, and an NZXT Phantom.

Due to the fact that I'm not well-versed in the realm of case fans (which ones to use and where to put them), I decided that it would be beneficial to post a thread on the build.

Thanks!

P.S. General suggestions are also welcome. Trying to stay with a red/black color scheme, but it doesn't really matter.

The NEX sucks balls in terms of quality compared to the G2,certification and wattage does not mean everything...

The EVGA G1 series or "Nex" are not that good and doesn't belong in a PC in this price bracket.

Internal components differ with the G2 having significantly better which results in better electrical performance.

The NEX is not as good as the G2 or GS series.

You have a decent system. Only 2 things I would change is the PSU like everyone is saying. 650 G2 is the wya to go. Also your cooler, no reason to try overclocking a 6700k on a 212. You're not going to get very far. I see you're going for a black and red theme, so you could try something like the this:

http://pcpartpicker.com/product/kHdqqs/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rrv8vc16prr1

Or its more expensive and better looking/performing big brother:

http://pcpartpicker.com/product/7sL7YJ/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-mazt8pn418prr1

Its a bit on the "has enough mass to emit its own gravity onto nearby objects) side of things... but aesthetically and performance wise, it may be a good match. then there is the H100i V2 and H115i AIO coolers which are quite affordable and do a pretty good job of cooling an overclocked CPU.

(Be sure to check your clearances if you end up going with larger air coolers. they wont fit 100% of every system and RAM sizes. If you want one of those, and run into RAM clearance issues, perhaps consider Cosrair Vengeance LPX, they are incredibly low profile and can come in red/black)

Alright. In that case (pun not intended), the 650 G2 it is.

The coolers look good. Do you know how to check if there is enough clearance for Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM, by any chance?

I currently am using the Logitech G402 and absolutely love it, but I just realized that it only has a blue LED. Does anybody know of any similar mice that would fit my red/black color scheme?

Vengeance LPX RAM is about as small as RAM gets these days, so yes. it'll fit them (it would have to or it'd never fit anything anywhere haha)

I don't know about any specific mice that will be the same shape and size as the 402, but come with red LED's. However, it should be fairly easy to find an RGB mouse that you can make whichever colour you want. Corsair is sure to have some. or have some red Mice. Logitech as well.
