Same disk problem as friend

johnadams123412

Recently I posted about a friend whos computer would reach 100% disk usage on start up or downloads or anything and would stay there and the computer would eventually freeze up and hed have to force restart. Well today, I just built a new computer, and Im getting the same issue, literaly right now my disk is at 100%. I dont know what to do. I tried many fixes online and none have worked so far.

Disk usage isn't like CPU. Max Reads and writes aren't static numbers, what a drive can do depends on the kind of data, so that graph is meaningless.

What kind of drive do you have, are you noticing real slow downs during specific tasks?

- Silverstone TJ08B-E - Gigabyte Z87M-D3H - i7 4770k @ 4.0GHZ 1.2v - 16gb Kingston HyperX Black 1600 - Gigabyte GTX 770 OC 4GB -

- Silverstone Fortress FT02 - MSI Z77 Mpower - i5 3570k @ 4.0GHZ 1.09v - 8gb Mushkin Blackline 1600 - MSI GTX 670 PE -

- Lenovo T430 (1600x900) - i5 3210m - 8GB DDR3 1333 - nVidia NVS5400M - 256GB mSATA OS - 320GB HDD-
