Thanks I'll go for the 30mm then. Is one 360 rad going to be enough to cool an over clocked cup and gpu

It will depend on the CPU and GPU. If you want your system to be totally silent, then its probably not enough. If you don't mind a little bit of noise when you put it under a heavy gaming load or whatever it is you do with your computer, then it will probably do a fine job of it (especially if you have quality SP optimized fans)

a 360 rad should be fine up to 68mm (in the overview video I mentioned they showed a super thick rad and fans in push & pull, going halfway down the case so you should be ok

Single 360mm rad might not be best idea.

I was using single 240mm slim rad from EKWB for my i7 4790 (non K version) and GTX 1070.

Temps on CPU went to 80°C while gaming.

Your CPU and GPU both have higher TDP, and when you OC your CPU, it will give away much more heat than mine i7 4790 locked version.

So temps wouldn't be very nice if you ask me. It probbably won't throttle, but I don't think you wanna see your CPU running at 80°C xD

Since you have top end components, do you think you can afford additional 360mm rad? So 720mm of rad all together. That would be perfect to keep everything at cool temps.

You're going to need some reasonably high speed fans to cool those two monstrosities OC'd on just a single thin 360.

Looking at a review of your case, the top mounting holes are quite offset from the motherboard. You should be able to put whatever size 360 you want in there, so long as you dont have massive RAM heatspreaders. You could also make up for this by just getting a second radiator and front mounting it. a 280 or 360 in the front would compliment your thin, top 360 enough that you wouldn't need to worry about cooling or acoustics anymore.

I'll go for 2 360 rads one top and one front then. I'll be getting corsair dominator pro ram

Dominator Pro RAM? is that different than the standard DDR3 or DDR4 Dominator RAM? assuming its at least the same form factor, then getting 2 thin 360's is your best bet for sure. Be sure to upload pics! Gonna have a pretty system when all is said and done =)

What fans do you suggest? I'm going to go with the EK SE 360 rad on top (26mm) and the EK CE 280 (40mm) in the front

any SP optimized fans will do. I'm personally a fan of the corsair SP aesthetic, but they don't have SP140's (at least ones that are not LED).

EK sells their Vardar fans which are pretty solid. then theres always noctua and their line of fans. and about a hundred other fans out there. People will tell you that you NEED one brand or another and that other brands are AWFUL. When it comes to radiator fans, you can get some SERIOUS fanboying (which I suppose is an appropriate name). realistically they all perform about the same to one another; so long as you're getting SP optimized fans, that is. Just look for their mm H2O rating, the higher the better. also look at their RPM, the higher it is the more noise you will typically get in order to achieve that mm H20 rating (although you can always turn that speed down with voltage control or PWM if you get a 4pin fan)

Noctuas are pretty ugly imo, but they're arguably the best fans on the market. Vardars are also really good, and look decent. These are just 2 recommendations, there are a metric shitton of fans out there. When i get my first custom loop I'm going to use Corsair SP120's, and AF140's (although i will try to avoid putting 140 rads into my case) because I like the aesthetic they give to a case. just look around at the different companies if you don't like any of the options I presented here to you. There are all sorts of fans in all sorts of shapes sizes and colours.
