Hy guys,

I have an old server motherboard (Tyan i5300Px) that I am usng actually with two 500GB HDDs, when I boot the pc one of them is not recognize, I try on different plugging configuration because there is 6 SATA ports, and depending on the order, one of them can't work, and say "failure fixed disk".

My drive don't have any problem, and all ports are working fine, I will make a new state for each drive on each ports just to make shure but, do you have any idea ?

Why can't I use my HDD together ? (not in raid)

Thanks

It sounds like it, what I would do just to be sure boot up with only one drive attached to see if it appears and then try the next, if both appear then it's something with your settings, if one of them doesn't then one of them seems to be dead
