Partial computer freeze

Hi guys, For a little while I've been having this problem that whenever I try to create a new folder on windows explorer it would stop responding and then eventually crash. And also a lot of times when I view something in WinRAR or actually somehow create a new folder the taskbar would freeze up and I can't change windows or even hit the Windows Key, I was just wondering if any of you have experienced this problem and what you did to fix it.

Looks like a windows problem or virus.

 

So scan for virus / maleware and if you allready did that you could try to "sfc /scannow" from command promp, maybe it can fix it.

Other than that, maybe running throu windows update will fix it, though very unlikely.

 

If all of these fail, a clean reformat would probably be the fastest way to fix the issues or maybe try some "ideas" from google first, if you really dont want to reformat.

 

Oh and try with entirely disabled antivirus and/or in safemode, if the problem appears in safemode aswell, reformat it is.
