I need a new PC with 1 1080p monitor, peripherals and the tower. I don't need a speaker because I have a Logitech unit in my basement. I plan to game on it and some light beginner coding. I came up with this

I know, that's why I picked that motherboard because it has an external BCLK generator meaning it should be able to overclock.

Your build is decent. You dont need a Z class motherboard for a non-k chip, but its also only a hundred bucks. for the things it has (in addition to overclocking) its not really a waste of money either. Might be able to save a few bucks if you go H170.

The PSU isn't the best quality. Nothing wrong with it for that build, but doesn't offer a lot of future proofing.

That being said, there is absolutely no reason you NEED to change those 2 components. it would be a solid computer anyway. I don't know enough about peripherals to really tell you what is a good bargain and what is not, but as long as you've done your research in that area I'm sure you'll be fine.
