GTX 1070

This is probably a very stupid question but I am looking to upgrade my current graphics card to a GTX 1070 and the minimum power supply wattage is 500w, will I be able to get away with my current power supply (Corsair 350w).

 

here's my current parts list:

 

motherboard: ASUS H81M-Plus

CPU: Intel I5 4460

Graphics Card: R7 360

Hard Drive: Toshiba DT01ACA050 500 GB and  WDC WD6400AAKS-22A7B 640GB

RAM: 8GB DDR3

 

hope this is enough information, I have tried myself but I would like some confirmation before I go out and buy a new graphics card I may not be able to use.

No, as you've pointed out, you don't have a good enough power supply.

i think you would need a higher end psu

I added it up on PC part picker and it came to 271W with my current graphics card.

With spikes the machine would easily go over that. A Seasonic S12II 520W would be a great PSU for you.

Like 350W depending on the overclock. Basically, a 520W would give plenty of headroom.

I'm going to sound like a real cheapskate here but would a 450w do, not planning to upgrade much for a while now.

You can get a 520W sometimes for the same price as a 450W, so, what country are you in?

I think a 450W would barely make it underload. Don't try to overclock it tho

The randomness says spikes would go to 350w so I believe 430w would be fine, would need more opinions to make a decision

Low quality unit. Also, it's always better to overshoot than to undershoot with PSUs.
