Windows 10 help

Go to solution Solved by Master Disaster,

1) Get yourself a 4gb USB drive and format it to fat32

2) Copy the contents on your Windows dvd onto the flash drive (just drag and drop all files and folders)

3) Head into UEFI, do a reset to defaults then set the following options...

Windows 8/10 Install Mode - Enabled

Fast Boot - Enabled

MSI Fast Boot - Disabled

Secure Boot - Enabled

4) Make sure the USB drive is inserted, save the changes and reboot

5) Mash F11

6) Select UEFI - Flash Drive Name from the boot menu

7) Install as normal but make sure you remove all partitions from your hdd then just click next and allow Windows to auto partition

Thats how you do a full uefi mode install of Win 10 :)

Hi guys, okay so let me say that my computer is encountering problem after problem, i see no end to it, ive already had to reinstall windows 10 many times, can someone please help me and recommend me a route to solving my issues, perhaps some advice installing recommended software and drivers, perhaps reinstalling windows 10 again. I know as a computer enthusiast that im going to encounter problems, but i know ive been rather on the unlucky scale, any recommendations/help will be greatly appreciated, ive only had my PC for 7 months, but i already feel as something i really wanted and worked hard towards, is just causing me massive grief/stress. With king regards Kurt.

Also here are my specifications:

intel 6700k

gtx 980ti

msi gaming pro motherboard (z170a)

16gb 2400hmz corsasir ram

intel 750 ssd (windows installed too)

1-1tb harddrive 1-2tb harddrive

tplink wireless ac 1750card

corsair 750watts psu

Also another thing to note is that my PC has encountered odd issues, some issues even i do not understand whatsoever, i got some hired help and even he had no idea, so... keep an open mind

Thanks for replying, here i will state some issues

Any game i play i cannot get 60fps stable even at low settings

I just brought a game dark souls 1 prepare to die edition, cannot load it, it says the application has requested to be terminated in a unusual way,

i cannot uninstall the c++ programs to reinstall them

I cannot launch the c++ programs to repair them-nothing happens, they dont load whatsoever

when ive had to reinstall windows 10, ive had to use diskpart every time because of drive issues,

random and constant errors appear all the time (i have kasperky installed i know its not malware)

in a previous install of windows 10 my computer was completely frozen in time, nothing responded whatsoever, (thats when i got hired help, he said he had absolutely no idea, and so i wasted $50)

Windows update wont stop downloading nvidia drivers, what is really annoying as i have to keep clean installing them after,

Sometimes when i try to dualboot other systems they other write in each others domain and screw up my master boot record

I lost access to one of my drives in which ive tried everything on the security properites, i had to clean it, i used a recovery program but all my files were corrupt.

I cannot access certain things in the registry (i have not done anything wrong in the registry i know that)

And well i guess you get the idea

just to clarify for step 7, i have 3 drives and will be moving large game files to one so i dont have to download them again (havent got fibre optic cables, i know :() so i just have to clean 1 drive using diskpart and select the unallocated space?

Correct, move any data onto your other drives then just to be safe unplug them and just leave your windows drive connected.
