Any 3pin fans will work. Note that if you use LED fans, LEDs will dim when you turn speeds down.

So i have this -> Aerocool CoolTouch-R Black Fan Controller <- or actually getting it for my build. Does it work with any fans or do i need some fancy ass fans that are specific to work with these things. Also will it fit on the Aerocool Aero-500 ATX Mid Tower Case?

that controller has wires at the back with 4 molex and 4 3 pin connectors.

Do you really need a fan controller? Most modern motherboards have fan control included. Mainly silent, fast, turbo and custom options.

I have one because it is easier to twist a knob than to reboot into the bios or hope speedfan works. I can also turn fans off if i want to.
