I am aware that you are looking for a motherboard but Asus had some major RMA issues with their new GTX 1080s resulting in them being removed from stores. Personally I wouldn't buy Asus after that, something to think about.

Specs:

CPU: i5-6500 3.2 GHz Mobo: ASRock H110M-HDV RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2133 MHz DDR4 GPU: GTX 1070 Founders Edition Storage: 120GB Sandisk Ultra II 1 TB WD HDD 7200 RPM PSU: Antec VP600P 600W Display: CrossOver 2795QHD 2560x1440 105 Hz OC OS: Windows 10 64 bit

That seems like a bit of an odd conclusion to draw.

Should we not buy Nvidia due to their GPU issues? Should we not buy AMD due to their recent GPU issues?

Who do we buy GPUs from then? My point is, that nobody has a clean track record.

Anything that's happening with Asus right now does not affect their previous board designs and revisions.

Every brand has a few RMA issues at one point. The last purchase that I made from MSI was in 2005 which had a lot of issues and put me off for a little while, I am sure they will be able to earn my trust back at some point.

I personally prefer the Asus Sabertooth boards.

I backordered an Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 about 3 weeks ago :(. Hopefully it will arrive this week and won't have RMA issues, I probably should have gone with EVGA though.
