Refrigerator sound on the Corsair H100i

Hi LTT community. Sooooo recently i got the h100i and there is this refrigerator sound coming out from it (assuming my room is quiet and I'm about 30 to 40 cm away from my PC). Is this normal ? I'm on Quiet mode and i even turned my radiator stock fans all the way down to 25%. :(

PS, i tried disconnecting the fans from the included fan splitter but the noise was still there.

My setup:

intel i7 6700k (not overclocked yet)

gtx 1070 gigabyte

asus z170i mobo

corsair h100i

g skill ddr4 2400MHz RAM

CX750M PSU

Phanteks enthoo evolv case

It could have air bubbles in the loop and they tend to cause extra noise till they work themselves out and once that happens it should quiet down.

It's the pump, Without it running the cooler would be useless and you'd cook your CPU.

the early h100i had a firmware issue that was resolved with an update through corsair link.

make sure you ave all the current updates to the cooling system.

I downloaded and ran corsair link already but the noise was still present. Did I miss a step in updating the cooling system somewhere?
