Buying Ex-Display?

So i've been looking at upgrading to 1440p and the monitor I want is currently available from a retailer at £100 off with the regular 2 year warranty. Its an ex-display model which kind of has me on edge, is it worth gambling for? it comes with all the accessories and just has a slightly beaten box.
