Hello, I have a pretty new galaxsy s7active, which while using got grease on the screen from food. I have tried cleaning it, and while it looks clean, if water gets on it it clumps into the center to were the grease was, maks touching the display not smooth, and squeaks if i rub my finger on it like a window would while cleaning. All other parts of the screen don't do this and it is very annoying. I was wondering what i should use to clean the screen, that can chemically remove it, i have already used multiple micro fiber cloths, water and standard soap. Would something like windex work? Thank you so much!

Don't use Windex, im pretty sure this will remove some coatings on the phones screen that you cannot replace (anti-glare?).

You'll have to wait for someone else more knowledgeable to chime in. All I know is you aren't supposed to use Windex on screens like monitors because you will irreversibly damage coatings. Im not sure if you have removed a coating, or the grease just isn't coming off (in which case there is probably something special you can use, but I don't know what).

ugh, alright, i just used dish soap and a soft sponge and still nothing, it makes a squeky sound on the part with the grease indicating that i either added or took off a layer to my screen, lets hope i added one...
