https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/4qpieg/it_sounds_like_louisapple_laptop_repair_tech_has/ Our friend Louis with his New York repair shop that Linus took a trip to a while ago about the graphics repair video has gotten himself into a legal battle with someone who "has alot of money" (apple mostlikely) he needs our help.

As someone who has (or at least had, until a couple of years ago when I permanently moved to a new city) a significant chunk of income from electronic repairs (my dad still does, even in my absence), I fully support Louis agains whoever it might be.

(just as a slight background check, my dad and I, alongside 4 others, operate the largest authorized electronics service shop in my home county, with significant business partners, which, along the years, include or have included Samsung, Gorenje, Sony, Blaupunkt and other big names. Whatever revenue we generate at the end of the month usually represents a substantial chunk of our total income. Do not get me wrong, we don't deal with warranties exclusively. If it chooches pixies and it's broken, we fix it - within reason - and have become a valuable service provider within the community)

do you think that if Louis partnered with your dads repair company it would be enough to scare off apple(or whoever it is) or if it could make the balance of power more equal?

We don't have nearly that much capital to afford that big of a lawsuit. Plus, we're on different continents alltogether
