Hey Folks,

First I want to apologize for my english, i am working on it.

I bought new 4x4gb Ram a few days since i felt like 8 gb is a bit low theese days.

I got some bluescreen and i thought one of the sticks is defect. I just put 2 of them in at a time- everything worked.

So it can not be the ram itself. Secondly i searched for my mainboard, maybe it does not support 16gb ram (yeah it is super old).

Under memory you can see that that it actually supports 16 gb, so i have no idea what is going on.

Anyone who knows more?

Thanks for any help

PS: The ram:

PS2: I would like to give you more information, but thats all i personally find useful.

Did you try them in the 2x2 in all 4 slots? or the same 2 slots. Sounds like a bad ram slot on your board. You can also look at doing a BiOS update on your board as well to see if it fixes it, but likely not.

Could it be that i am like a few mb about the maximum ram ? Hard disc drives are not on point aswell from time to time.

See if you can update the BiOS and retest.

Nvm i get a bluescreen with 3 sticks aswell when i leave the loginscreen of windows.

I tried the same thing again. This time ive got several display driver cashes... After each of them windows recovered for a couple of second to shuts down again.

Maybe it is the Bios update? Doing a 2 Stick test now with a little bit of gaming.
