Hey, there! So I've been playing CS:GO for a few days now and I noticed that my fps drops to about 45-50 down from 80-100 randomly. I started monitoring my parts and the results showed that nothing is under pressure by the game. CPU (pentium g620) usage never brakes the 60% barrier. GPU (gtx 650 oc) never really goes above 60% as well. RAM is not a problem since I've got 8 gigs and I run no programs in the background while playing. I also run the game off of a SSD (Intel 530)

So I'm confused as to why is my fps so bad sometimes when my parts aren't under heavy load at all.

The difference in FPS between minimal settings and maximal settings are little to none. I sometimes get 1-2 more fps on max then on min tbh. It's so weird.

I tried reinstalling the game. Drivers are up to date. It just doesn't seem to run very well. Even the game's interface and menu and stuff won't run butter-smooth and as snappy as windows for example. It's just really weird.

I'm running windows 10 x64.

If anyone knows how to fix this weird issue, please let me know, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

People are going to grill me for this but if you've only got a 60hz monitor turn vsync on and you shouldn't get such massive frame drops

that's something I've already tried. forgot to mention it in the post.

It's really weird because my old-ass pc could run even crysis 3 with decent fps.

I really dunno what else I could do about this cs go thing though.

Tried adjusting all kinds of both ingame and nvidia control panel settings and nothing seems to fix it.

And btw my monitor is overclocked to 74 Hz up from 60. And in fact I don notice the difference when I get that fps. It's quite huge actually...looks so much smoother.

Could it by my windows or sth? I've had issues in the past where my windows goes full retard and F's my fps in games.
