Mobo Bios update HELP!

So i have no other windows computer than the one i just built, i need to do a bios update so i can get internet from ethernet however when i download the update from my iMac , put it on my usb , and insert it in the computer there is no way to run it. What other ways can i update it?!!!

If your motherboard has the bios flashback option/button from the USB key you can use that or go through software to update it, just make sure that in both cases it doesn't lose power or get disconnected during the process.

ok new question: it says i need to update my ethernet controller ... how do i do this without internet
