I am making a gaming rig, I have pretty much completed my build and I am the point where I need to pick a case;

I have my eyes set on one, the corsair SPEC-02 but while I am fairly sure it will be ok for my starting components I plan to add a second GPU very soon and I am also not sure of the actual size of the GPU as I want to go for an RX 480 made by a gaming manufacturer, and at this moment we only have the ATI version.

So I would like to know if I have enough room for a 2nd GPU for crossfire, and in case what are the measurements I need to keep inside of for the GPUs.

the Buil consists of

Gygabyte GA H170 gaming 3 motherboard

GPU RX 480 8gb

Cool master T4

2x corsair vengeance LPX 8gb RAM

PSU Corsair CX650M

and once again I am looking to buy a second RX 480 in maybe 6-8 months

and I want to know if I can fit all this in a

Corsair carbide series SPEC-02 mid tower

thanks

It fits a full-ATX mainboard, so it should be able to fit two full-size graphics cards without a problem. You may need to remove the 3.5" drive cage to ensure it fits, but if you're planning to use just an SSD that shouldn't be a concern. Given the selected mainboard, I'd say to use an M.2 SSD as well to reduce cable bulk in the chassis. Plus you can always use adapter brackets to mount a 3.5" HDD in the 5.25" drive bays if you really need that.

Wife's build: Amethyst - Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200, ASUS Prime X570-P, EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 12GB, Corsair Obsidian 750D, Corsair RM1000 (yellow label)

My build: Mira - Ryzen 7 3700X, 32GB EVGA DDR4-3200, ASUS Prime X470-PRO, EVGA RTX 3070 XC3, beQuiet Dark Base 900, EVGA 1000 G6

I was actually planning on using a 2.5" SSD Samsung 850 evo 500g because apparently there is no difference in performance with the m.2 version, and I am also putting a 3.5"HDD, with the intention of adding more HDD in the future (I save large quantities of gaming footage).
