Ok, I have a certain problem that literally has never happened to me before until 2 nights ago.

My computer keeps randomly restarting whenever im in the middle of a game, such as CS:GO or LoL. At first I thought it was the RAM, (which i have 16gb of it) so i removed one stick to see if that was the problem......aaaand it wasnt that at all. If it was GPU related then thats no problem, im purchasing a new Graphics card in a couple of days, so thats fine.

If it helps, these are my 'specs':

I had a look through the Critical Issues tab and this is what appeared "Kernal-Power". Any idea what that means? I'm afraid im not smart when it comes to software

Could be because of:

-Bad overclock (if you have one)

-Bad power supply

-Loose power connections, try reseating all your power cables from your power supply and on your motherboard.

-Bad memory (check your memory with memtest)

Are you overclocking? If you are, it's most likely because it doesnt have enough voltage. If you aren't, you may want to check that your PSU is working properly. Get HWmonitor and check the current voltages of each line. 12v should be getting 12v , 3.3v should be 3.3v, (or very close).

Also, have you installed any software lately? Check your control panel under Programs and Features and click on Date so it shows the most recent program installs at the top.

Oh, and everything Evilarceus said was good advise too

I think there is an auto overclock setting you can try. Or just switch it to Gaming mode. See if that helps.

You could also try increasing the voltage a step. but if you are inexperienced with overclocking, please do some research and reading to make sure it's done properly.

(even though it's extremely hard to mess em up now with all the safeties they put in).
