Win. 8 install hangs at splash screen

So I need to do a clean install of Windows

 

i made a bootable flashdrive and booted from it

 

 I'm stuck at the windows logo

there isn't any spinning circle or anything it's just the windows logo

 

I don't believe my PC is frozen but what do I do

How long are you waiting? It takes a while

Then Something is not right. Do you have another Flash drive?

Try creating another bootable usb. If that doesn't work, I will investigate further.

Are you using USB 3.0 or 2.0?
