Need help with new pc

Hey guys, i'm new to this forum and building PC and would like some help.

So i'm planning to do some gaming,  recording(games) and video editing(in 1080) with my new build.

I dont need any monitors because i have one and only planning to use this. I dont need any peripherals.

My budget is up to 1000EUR(812£)

No problem. And the reason I went with a Xeon, is because it has hyper threading for about the same price as an i5, which helps in video rendering.

But what do you think about Intel xeon E3-1231 v3 for cpu?

It's an older generation, why not just go with the v5?

Oh yeah, I guess you're right, There have been people who have recommended that. But going for the newer gen one seems good choice

Yeah although there isn't a huge difference in performance, the newer gen has improved architecture and supports DDR4.
